GREATEST BLESSINGS

I can remember as a very little girl dreaming of the day when I would be grown up, get married and have lots of children.   So with each day I wake up,  I am honored to be married to the love of my life and to be a momma to the most amazing children ever born, and the Mimi to the most beautiful grandkids on this earth!!

My children…all SEVEN of them… (the four I birthed and the three we got to inherit by marriage) and my grandchildren are in mine and my husbands prayers at ALL times.

I praise God that since our kids have grown up and moved out of our home and are now parents themselves that when we can’t tuck them into bed at night and cover them with blankets that we are able to always cover them with prayer.   Thank you Jesus!!

these are the only things on this earth that I will ever be able to take to heaven with me when it’s time. So…

MY PRAYER:

I pray I’ve done my best to lead them by example and point them towards Christ. I pray a desire for each of us to have a closer and more intimate/deeper walk with Jesus each day. I pray the Holy Spirit would be ever present in each one of us to give us in perfect portion exactly what we need. Whether it be comfort, correction or conviction etc…. I pray barriers be torn down in Jesus name and that all hearts would be mended. I pray satan to flee from any future attacks on my family and I’m reminding him now that we are the head and he’s the tail.

MY DECLARATION:

Satan will not be victorious but God will always be the victor in all things. My family will serve the Lord with a heart that’s completely on fire. My family will have a burning desire in their hearts that stays stirred up to follow righteousness and that the ways of the world will make them sick. We will all have an understanding that the temptations of this earth are poisonous and will lead to spiritual destruction and our convictions will grow stronger each day. The power of the Holy Spirit will go to each on of these blessings and will show each one separately and personally just how much they’re loved and prayed for by Shane and I but more importantly the depth of the love of Christ will be shown.

MY PRAISE:

Lord, I can’t thank or praise you enough for these blessings. You’ve given to me in abundance and my heart does truly over flow. Each one is so special and brings joy to my life. To hear their laughter and the enjoyment of each other’s company is a blessing in itself but when I see them trusting You in all things and when I hear my grandchildren repeating what their parents have taught them concerning You… then my heart nearly explodes with godly pride.

MY CONFESSION:

I’m gonna be honest, Lord, and admit that these days we live in are hard. The devil and his demons are bold and they are constantly attacking. It’s hard to stay focused on You these days with all the evil that’s thrown in our face from every angle. It’s easy to be distracted by fear, doubt, anger or unforgiveness.

CONT PRAISE:

We praise You that when we earnestly cry out to You that You do come boldly to us in our visions and dreams and are able to surround us with good godly friends and leaders. We need accountability to help us stay the course.

MY REMINDER:

You tell us that You always make a way…. but You also tell us that the way to You is narrow. Let each one of my loved ones be on that narrow path that leads to you. You tell us that Your Word is like a lamp and I pray that Your Word inside me is an ever burning lamp that shines bright in me so that I lead others to You.

MY REQUEST:

Let my family be able to be together worshipping You in heaven for eternity. In Jesus name… I cover them with this prayer…. amen
