MY DREAM
This dream was given to me last January 30, 2023 and I’ll forever treasure it! I have vivid dreams often that have spiritual meanings but I’ve never had one where I actually saw Jesus until this one.
During our hardest moments God is still ever present and even speaks to us in dreams.
The other night I went to sleep with a burdened heart and heavy spirit. Sometime during the early morning hours just before waking up I had a dream. It’s a little hard to explain what I saw but I’ll do my best.
It was dark but I saw up close something moving. In my dream I kept asking “what am I looking at?”
No words were spoken in the dream. The image moved back but yet was still close and it cleared. I could see hands. Large hands. Somehow I knew those were the hands of Jesus.
The image itself stayed clear but kept moving backwards as if zooming out for me to see more but yet it was still close. I could see that the hands were holding a large lit up sphere and that He was moving around… I could tell it was earth. At that moment it was spoke into my spirit…. “I know things seem hard but I have the whole world in the palm of my hands”
The image changed from hands to something else but was blurry. Same thing… it cleared up as I’m asking myself what I’m looking at…. And I could see it was the face of Jesus. It was at that moment He spoke into my spirit and said… “I see what you’re going through… and I am always near!” I began to praise Him in the spirit in my dream and telling Him “yes, Lord, You are always near even when we can’t see You. Thank You for being always present!”
Then the image began to grow… and grow… and zoom out further.
I could see a large image of Jesus whole body and what looked like His robe and sash blowing in the wind. It had a golden hue to it. At this point He spoke into my spirit and said “I am always bigger than any problem that you face… just bring it to me and trust me. “
I’ve never before had a dream where I could see Jesus. It was an experience I’m thankful for.
Lord, thank You for the reminder that even though things seem out of our control that they’re never out of Your control. Nothing takes you by surprise. Thank You for reminding me that You are always near and ready to handle any circumstance that we go through. Thank You for reminding me that even though we might be walking through a valley… You are far greater than anything coming against us! Your ways are higher than ours.
Lord… thank You for being omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. Your glory is more than just amazing love. You are the creator of all good things! You sustain us through every situation and You are the good shepherd leading and protecting us in this life.
One day soon we will see You face to face.
