Counting my blessings!
I simply choose to have a thankful heart today. I choose to be thankful and put the enemy on alert that GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THANHE THAT IS IN THE WORLD!!!
The past several days have been rough! I can choose to let the devil steal my joy or I can choose to rejoice and have a heart that worships and let the Holy Spirit comfort and recharge me. Today I’m thankful and I count my blessings!
I’m thankful that when God forgave me of my sins that He didn’t check my past but He simply gave me Grace and showed me Mercy and He forgave my sins so that I didn’t have to be held in bondage to it any longer.
He is the way maker…
Isaiah 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight….(KJV)
He is the Miracle Worker
Luke 18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. (KJV)
He is the promise keeper
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Or
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (KJV)
I’m thankful for my family that makes my heart happy at the mere thought of them and I’m thankful that I get the opportunity to pray for them throughout every single day.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (KJV)
And
Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. (KJV)
I’m so thankful that He gave me the gift of the Holy Spirit at the very moment of my Salvation so that I could be convicted at the moment I’m tempted to sin and that He always makes a way of escape and I’m thankful that my sins are covered by the shed blood of Christ.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (KJV)
I’m thankful that I am am overcomer and that I’ve been given an amazing testimony.
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV)
I’m thankful that I can go directly to my Heavenly Father and intercede for myself and others and when those times come that I simply don’t have the words that the same Holy Spirit that is in me will make intercession for me.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (KJV)
I pray that my life always represents the Lord well. I pray I’m a constant light that points others to the Lord. Today I have a thankful heart.
It’s been a rough couple of days and the enemies attacks are a for real thing but today I choose to worship in all sincerity and to send the enemy on the run by speaking Gods Word and pleading His blood and humbling my own heart and asking God to search my heart and show me the areas that I’ve been weak in or that He is displeased in and to show me anything that has allowed the enemy a foothold. God tells us that we have not because we ask not and He goes on to tell us that all His promises are yes and amen.
I’m thankful for the relationship I have with Jesus that even on a bad day or my worst day that I can go to Him and He truly does give peace that passes all understanding.
I honestly don’t know how people that don’t have that close walk with Him make it in their daily life.
If you think about it today and your heart is right with God then please just simply remember me in prayer. If there’s something not right between you and God then let me encourage you to make things right today….right now. He’s waiting to show the same mercy and grace to you as He did me. No sin is too big that He won’t forgive.
Today is the day of salvation
2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.) (KJV)
