I WONDER

I’m wondering today…. I wonder if I had lived before Jesus did… would I have really given a true unblemished sacrifice to roll my sins back?

Would I have been anxiously awaiting for the arrival of a Savior?

JOB 19:25   and

HOSEA 13:4

If I had lived when Jesus did… would I have truly followed Him?

1 CORINTHIANS 11:1

If I had lived when Jesus did would I have been part of the crowd that crucified Him or would I have been part of the crowd that cried as He was beaten and crucified?

I wonder if I had lived when Jesus did would I have seen Jesus cry as He bravely and perfectly took the sins of the world upon Himself?

Would I have been moved to compassion for Him or would I have went on with my daily selfish life putting me first because it was too hard to give up my things…and my ways?

The fact is…I’m born at the exact appointed time God has chosen for me!

And so have you!!

How will you handle it?

How will I handle it?

How will you handle your exact appointed time to live for Christ?

Lord, I wonder is my heart truly humble before You?

Lord, do I put you first in all things?

Lord, do I live my life as a lighthouse on a hill letting others see You through me?    Am I constantly walking in Your light so that I never have to walk in darkness?

JOHN 8:12

Lord, is my heart truly broken over the things that break Yours?

Lord, do I demonstrate enough boldness to take a firm stand for You in the time I’m called to?

EPHESIANS 3:2

PROVERBS 28:1 and

ACTS 4:29

Lord, does my conversation continuously demonstrate Grace?

COLOSSIANS 4:6

Lord, did I lead my kids towards You with a consistent life that held Your convictions strong?

Lord, am I leading my grandkids towards You by teaching them You are to be honored in all things and that our life should glorify You always.

Lord, am I doing my part to live my life for You during this time You’ve called me to live?

Lord, when I stand before you and we all will one day.    Will I be able to stand proudly before You knowing I did my very best to live for You and will I hear you say… “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!”

MATTHEW 25:21

Or will I sadly and with eternal regret hear you say…. “DEPART FROM ME…I NEVER KNEW YOU!”

MATTHEW 7:21-23

Honestly, for myself I KNOW that answer because the simple truth is… we can all know without a doubt where our eternity will be.   If for one second you are wondering…. then maybe you haven’t given up the world to truly follow Him.   Maybe you need to rethink and examine your heart.

I will be in the presence of God for all eternity.    This doesn’t mean I’m perfect…. oh goodness I’m far from that!   It does mean that I don’t live in my sin!    I don’t stay there when I fail.

These are questions every person needs to ask themselves.   We are living in a time that’s not to be taken for granted and we should live to the fullest for God.   Not one place in Gods Word does He ever tell us that we should “sow our wild oats”  to satisfy our own self pleasure.

God’s Word does tell us that HE IS THE WAY!    So if He is the way then we must follow Him!    If He is the way then He won’t lead us wrong!

He does tell us that the way to sin and to hell is broad and that the way to Him is narrow and there will be few that really follow it…. because selfish desires pull at them too strong!

MATTHEW 7:13-14

Lord, I pray You would burn everything that’s in me out by the power of Your Holy Spirit!   Make me a vessel that’s so on fire for You that it leaves no room for the things of this world.     I pray I can walk in Your anointing and filled with wisdom so that I have an answer for those that ask at all times.

Lord, may I live every day as the scripture tells us in DEUTERONOMY 6:7-9

Diligently teaching my children and grandchildren all about You.    walking and talking with You so that I can walk and talk with them all the wonderful things You have for us.    Teaching them always that You should be their  first thought in the mornings and that You should be the first person they talk to when they wake up and the last person they talk to when going to bed.    Teaching them to cover their house in prayer and knowing with all assuredness that when others walk in the doors of our homes that others will instantly feel Your presence and know whom it is we serve!

JOSHUA 24:15

Lord, be with my entire family and I’m asking You to put Your angels to stand guard around us.   Fill us with Your spirit and draw us close together as if we were the ones You called to be on the Ark.

May a lasting legacy for You be built in us carrying on for generation after generation.    Being careful to give You all the glory, honor and praise.    In Jesus name… amen.

Thank you for bravely laying down your fear of blogging. And for stepping forward in vulnerability and with courage to share the Gospel of God and His Son Jesus. The timing could not have been more perfect. ❤️🙏🏻🙌🏻

Thank you so much Shellie for that encouragement. I have definitely stepped out of my comfort zone but I’ve also been so blessed to see God using my blog to touch others. It’s such an honor

Love this message, this is something we all need to ask ourselves, are we serving our Saviour, or the worldly things.
