What is your testimony and what was your experience when you surrendered to the Lord and let Him come into your heart and life?
Luke 24:32 is the verse that explains exactly how I felt the moment I was walking down the aisle to give my heart to the Lord.
Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (KJV)
The Holy Spirit was speaking to me….Misty the nobody but a sinner… and the Lord opened up scripture so that I could see clearly that my life did not line up with Gods Word but how that was all about to change in one moment.
It was a feeling I will NEVER forget or get over!
When the enemy attacks me and makes me doubt my salvation….the Lord always takes me back to that moment….when He made my heart burn within me and made all things new again.
Gave me a new heart, new mind, new speech, new desires. I didn’t long for the worldly things of my past. I wanted what Christ had for me. My desires changed to line up with Gods desires for me.
I get so excited when I think how He instantly changed my life and instantly gave me personal convictions and how He has held me accountable all these years. My love for Christ never waivers but only strengthens daily.
Lord, I praise You for coming into my life and for all those years that You never gave up on me as I lived each day for myself instead of for You. My gratitude goes beyond words and yet all You want is my sincere praise to You. Lord, I thank you for seeking me through many years of me not even knowing that You were chasing after me until the moment I finally surrendered and then it began to make sense….as scales of sin fell from my eyes. I thank you that when I fail that I don’t have to remain bound a prisoner to sin but that You broke every chain so that I could live free from sin. I pray others will have the same experience that I’ve been able to have but with their own details and their own personal testimony. Lord, I know as I sense in my spirit, that we are running out of time. Speak to every heart of the people I love and shake them in their faith. Wake them up to their sin and let them see both realities of heaven and hell. Send the Holy Spirit to them and minister to them in a way that is only possible by You. Let me be a vessel that pleases You with my life and grow me into a spiritual warrior for you. Give me wisdom and a humble heart and give me a love that can only come from You. I pray that I can be a bold light for You that draws others to You.
Lord, I’ve asked You to speak to my heart and to let me hear Your voice clearly and I thank You that once again You have chose to honor my prayer.
Be with every person that reads this and that You, Lord, would speak to them individually. Draw them to You Lord. In Jesus name…. amen
