Life and death are in the tongue. Use it to speak God’s Word which is alive, sharp and powerful. God can bring us healing when we are sick or hurt, peace that passes all understanding when we are troubled or burdened down, and strength when we are weak. Daniel fasted 21 days before hearing from the Lord although God heard and began answering his prayer the very second Daniel prayed. There was a mighty battle in the spiritual world that had to be won in order for the angel to reach Daniel and give him the message from the Lord.
